Falling Whispers
The installation unfolds as a continuous cascade of light, flowing gently across the architecture. In silence, the cascade remains calm and uninterrupted. As sounds emerge around it — voices, footsteps, movement — its fragile balance begins to shift and its natural flow becomes increasingly disturbed.
Three listening stations invite visitors to approach the installation and whisper. Each becomes a different point of connection between voice, light and the shared landscape.
Depending on where the visitor whispers, the cascade responds in a different way: its flow shifts across the architecture, becomes turbulent, or appears to break away from the surface and move towards the viewer..
Each whisper leaves a fleeting trace within the landscape of light, briefly transforming the cascade before it returns to its natural flow.
In a world increasingly filled with noise, Falling Whispers explores the fragile space that silence creates. A whisper only exists when there is space to hear it. Through a landscape where even the smallest sound can leave a trace, the installation reflects on how our presence can transform the environment around us. It invites us to slow down, lower our voices and rediscover the value of listening..
