Independent artist specialized in creative lighting

Single Image
Ricardo Morcillo explores the intersection between the physical and the digital through the language of light. His creations invite audiences to immerse themselves in atmospheric experiences that seek to awaken collective awareness and emotional connection. He holds a degree in Lighting Design from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam and in Architecture from the School of Architecture of Alicante. Alongside his artistic practice, he actively promotes light culture through lectures, academic teaching, and contributions to specialized publications. He is a Senior Professional Member of the Spanish Lighting Designers’ Association (APDI). His installations have been featured in international festivals such as Noor Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Bright Brussels (Belgium), and LuzMadrid (Spain), where his work engages audiences through a dialogue between light, space, and public participation.
