Red Pavilion
The artwork restores a symbolic abandoned building in Domaine de Chevetogne, Belgium. Leveraging the beauty of the landscape and the magic of the surrounding forest
The narrative of the installation revolves around the story of an elderly farmer who, upon returning to his cabin after a tiring day's work, encounters a mysterious flash of light. Upon approaching, he discovers it to be a huge cage containing all the fairies of the forest. By releasing them, the forest regains its lost splendor.
"The Red Pavilion" has been awarded as a light art project in the competition organized by the prestigious firm iGuzzini for the "Nuit du Feu" light festival. This installation not only offers a unique visual experience but also encourages reflection on the relationship between humans and nature, as well as the power of imagination and creative liberation.
